About Havani IP

Thank you for making it to this site! I'm an IP attorney (15+ years) a musician, a San Francisco Bay Area native, a husband, and father of two. Before starting Havani, I served as lead counsel in more than 35 patent trials and helped build patent portfolios for companies including Amazon, Micron, Broadcom, Leia Inc., and JPMorgan Chase. That experience shapes the work here, but it is not the point of Havani.

The point is to give founders access to serious patent experience without making the process feel heavy, distant, or built for a much larger company.

As a legal tech entrepreneur myself, I genuinely enjoy meeting people who are building something new. When I can, I connect clients and friends with investors, operators, attorneys, and other experts in my network who may be helpful along the way.
